IBAN Validator
Check an international bank account number against a local country-format table and MOD-97 checksum.
Inputs and files stay in this browser tab. These tools do not upload, log or save your data. Clear the workspace when finished.
How to use IBAN Validator
Paste an IBAN and choose Validate IBAN. Spaces are removed and letters are uppercased. Review the individual issues, compare actual and expected length, and copy the normalized value if needed.
Limits and interpretation
A valid format and checksum do not prove that an account exists, is open or belongs to anyone. National domestic checks and bank-directory verification are not performed. The local table covers 89 prefixes from SWIFT IBAN Registry release 101 (December 2025); later changes may not be included.
Is my input sent to a server?
No. Parsing, filtering and validation run locally. Only an explicit copy or download action exports your results. Closing this page clears its working input.
